Sarath Lakshman is a 20 year old guy bitten by Linux bug during his teenage. He is pursuing his Computer Science and Engineering at Model Engineering College, Cochin, Kerala. Last September he turned 20.
He is a life hacker who loves to explore innovations. He is a GNU/Linux enthusiast and Free and Open Source Software promoter. He spends most of his time hacking with computers.
He enjoys dreaming, writing, coding, photography and having fun with friends. He is an Free Software contributor. He loves to play around with UNIX like operating systems.
The Free and Open Source Software projects he has worked with are Fedora Project, PiTiVi Video editor, SLYNUX GNU/Linux distro, Swathantra Malayalam Computing, School-Admin, Istanbul and Pardus Project. Since October 2008, He writes articles on LinuxForYou Magazine on various domains under GNU/Linux platform.
During the year 2004 he developed a user friendly GNU/Linux distro named SLYNUX. He was able to gift lots of people by providing a user friendly Live CD distro named SLYNUX. The comments he received from 100s e-mails from people around the world was awesome.
He enjoys programming under open platforms. He loves to talk on Free Software, Contributing to Free Software project, GNU/Linux Live CD remastering and lot more. Sarath had spoke at technical events various Engineering Colleges in Kerala based on GNU/Linux platform.
