Last day I went for latest malayalam movie Belram vs Tharadas directed by old malayalam director I.V Sashi. We reached Libery Paradice at 9.30 itself for 11 am show. But we didn’t get ticket. We finally bought Black ticket for Rs.60 instant of orignal ticket of Rs.31 !!
The film was produced by Liberty, a Theature group in our tellicherry itself. The most part of the movie was shooted in Tellicherry. Tellicherry is a very near place from Mahe. I went for movie with a lot of friends. It was a doubble role film and Mammooty stared as inspector Belram & Tharadas. I have been keen to see the movie for last 1 -2 months. The releasing date of the movie had been postporned a number of times.
We expected it to be a great thrilling film. But it broke all of our dreams. It wasn’t good as we expected. The entire problem was due to faulty direction. It was a bit worse. The film just focuses only on two charactors. There is’nt any importance for others. About first few scenes there wasn’t any connections. The movie has two songs directed by Jassie Gift. But the scenes and song wasn’t matching. The film was about the fight between a strict and efficient Police officer, Belram and a Smuggler Tharadas. I liked the theme of the film much. But the direction made it bad.. The Heroine in the movie is Katrina Kaif and this is her first malayalam movie. We guyz felt there was some problem in her malayalam film acting.
The technical editing and effects on the film is impressive. First of all, it is doubble role. There were some stunt scenes between doubble charators. The editing work made that scenes perfect. I liked it very much. The film was an average one.
